About
Born in 1979 in Hannover, Northern Germany, Martin Bühler grew up in the countryside where he developed his creative and independent personality.
At the age of eight he discovered his first big passion: skateboarding.
Not only was he fascinated by the sport but also by the culture which went with it. His childhood heroes were Mike Vallely and Steve Caballero.
He followed their careers by reading the "Monster Skateboard Magazine" and was impressed by the pictures taken by Helge Tscharn, a renowned skateboarding photographer.
It was very likely these photographs were the inspiration for his future vocation. It was in the year 2000, then, that Martin worked on a photo project as part of his vocational training and discovered his second big passion: photography.
The mix of technical knowledge and creativity is a 1:1 reflection of his personal skills and interests and he has been working as a freelance photographer ever since.
With his team, he works both nationally and internationally. Martin’s focus is on lifestyle, sport and portrait photography.
